The Australian Open Program iPad application, ‘iPad app of the week’ has also been in the ‘top ten paid’ applications, ‘top grossing’ and was highlighted in the ‘new and noteworthy’ section on the Australian iTunes site.
The Official Australian Open Program iPad application was released just in time for The Australian Open! jTribe was commissioned to build this application in conjunction with Flink Labs and Ogilvy to release the IBM powered application for Tennis Australia.
It was an exciting project to be involved in, producing an interactive final product with both informative and fun features for avid tennis fans. The YouTube clip above gives you a good overview of the different features, from the digitally exclusive Australian Open program, to a scrapbook for players’ signatures. We were particularly happy with the infinite canvas, which has added something quite unique and interactive to the application.
