The OpenHub - Coworking in Melbourne

The OpenHub is a workspace where creative professionals and business owners can come and work in the City of Melbourne at an affordable price. Members have a dedicated workspace that they can access 24/7 and have use of a private meeting room. Internet access, printer/fax and kitchen facilities are included in the membership fee.

What is Coworking?

Coworking is a movement to create a community of cafe-like collaboration spaces for developers, writers and independents. (from the Coworking Wiki - http://wiki.coworking.info)

Working alone, either from home or even in an office can be isolating. The OpenHub aims to build a studio of creative professionals who are seeking to work alongside other small businesses, allowing them to collaborate and a community atmosphere to evolve.

When will The OpenHub ... open?

We have opened our doors on November 1st. In the last couple of weeks we have put in place the meeting room, got our fast Internet connection established and the proximity card security system installed - basically smoothing out the edges. We have also worked hard on the new OpenHub website where members can now book their space at the OpenHub online.
